Account Deactivation for ASIN/Brand I have never sold or listed before.

Good evening,

My account was deactivated. I received a section 3 complaint for the ASIN listed below. I did research and looked through our history with Amazon and have never listed this brand or this product before but my account received a section 3 deactivation because of it. I spoke with an amazon representative on the phone who was helpful. They asked about what the issue was. I explained what was happening and the representative did their research and had agreed that we never showed a history of listing that brand or product before and that our account should not have been deactivated. The amazon represenative said they would put us on hold and ask their internal team to review and see if they can help as well. After holding the representative came back on the phone and let us know that the internal team also investigated the issue and also said that we are correct and the item we were suspended for has never been listed or sold under our account. They acknowledged that this must have been a mistake. The amazon representative said that in order for me to get the account re-activated I just had to submit a dispute that my amazon storefront was deactivated by error. I went ahead and did that, explained and attached the notice that I received while also sharing that we have never listed or sold this product or brand before. I added the de-activation section 3 email along with the ASIN details. The representative said by doing this Amazon would see that I have no responsibility with the product in question and would re-activate my account. So far I have received an email that says that amazon doesn't have enough information at the moment to re-activate the account. I'm not sure if my dispute/appeal was ever read. Can anyone help or walk me through how I can get some assistance with this? The representative I spoke to was helpful but since then I've had no luck. I am positive that the this brand and product has never been listed by our business but still have received the response emails from Amazon. I appreciate everyones help, thank you again.

I can understand your frustration, it will take many efforts, but in the end, it will get reinstated. Just keep trying, as long as the error is from their own end

Do you have a Business Development contact that you can schedule an appointment with to speak to about this?

I was assigned someone who reached out to me shortly after I started selling. In his initial email there was a link I can use to schedule a call with him.

If you had someone assigned to you maybe it'll be faster to schedule a call with them so they can escalate this.

I'm really sorry this has happened to you and it honestly scares me as a new seller.

I do see from the provided information that your situation was raised with the appropriate teams and is currently being reviewed. They had recently followed up yesterday advising on still being under review, so they are in possession of the situation. They should provide a follow up through your performance notification regarding their decision once complete.

Had to call in again to health support for about the 4th time requesting escalation and updates. Amazon reps said to look out in the performance notifications for updates but no updates are shown. Called in and a rep looked into the review and internal team came to the conclusion that we've tried to list the product in the past. Personally I know I have never tried to list that brand or product before. I looked through our entire ungate history and show no request for that brand in general. Also went through our entire order history and again no items show for the asin or brand. Amazon rep requested I submit those items as evidence along with our inventory purchasing history and a summary of the deactivation error issue. I went ahead and did that just now, hopefully I will have positive news for everyone. The ASIN and brand show nowhere in our inventory purchase history. I have no idea how they're generating these findings. If anyone has additional items I can submit to help my case feel free to share.

I have followed up with the review and provided information. The resolution was that they will require sourcing documents for ASIN: B0078MF1PC and the associated brand: Loreal Paris. They do not provide the method or reason for their decisions but have advised to be eligible for reactivation at this point, we require valid invoices that references the listing and brand. Even if this product was never sold, any products added to your manage inventory is susceptible to our policies and review. When it comes to branded products, this may involve verifying you have the proper inventory and sourcing to support the listing being in the manage inventory as we see this as an intent to sell the product and brand.
