NARF – One Urn Approved for Mexico, Identical Ones Blocked – Need Help from @Glenn_Amazon
Hi everyone
We’re seeing a frustrating issue with NARF eligibility and would appreciate guidance — or ideally, help from @Glenn_Amazon or someone with visibility into how these decisions are made.
We sell handcrafted aluminum urns. No batteries, electronics, or restricted materials — just a solid cast aluminum urn with a printed design.
Our ASIN B0CXTMF294 (Purple Butterfly Urn) is fully enrolled in NARF and available in Mexico.
However, these nearly identical ASINs are blocked:
B0D31ZM8C5 (Black Butterfly)
B0D322CG27 (Green Butterfly)
B0D322PSDZ (Light Blue Butterfly)
These have the exact same construction, same material, same use — only the butterfly image/color differs. Yet we get the vague error:
“ASINs have import/export restrictions that prevent the product from being sold in the selected country.”
We’ve opened a case (ID: 17686904771) and were told it’s under internal review, but there’s been no follow-up in weeks. These are our top sellers, and this inconsistency is impacting our international expansion.
Has anyone run into this with NARF before? Any luck getting a manual override or catalog team review?
