Vendor and Seller Hybrid Model - Brand Owner/Manufacturer not able to Sell Owned Brands on Seller Central after 1+ Year
My company is a registered Brand Owner with a Vendor and Seller Central account. After roughly a year of a hybrid model, we have now been blocked (gated?) from selling any of our branded ASINs through Seller Central.
The error we receive is "We already have a vendor relationship with this Brand, through which we source products directly from the Brand for sale by Amazon to customers. Please contact your Vendor Manager Amazon Retail contact, or the Brand directly with questions or to add inventory for this product through Vendor Central" There is a secondary error stating "Refurbished condition: You cannot list the product in this condition"
The refurbished condition error seems to be a bit of a false flag as we only sell new products and did not even get far enough in the set-up process to designate condition.
The real issue is that despite our Brand Health page showing we are the brand owner and seeing our merchant token connected in Brand Registry for all of our brands, we cannot list our own products. Our VM is not responsible for implementing the block and does not know how to lift it. Brand Registry and Seller Central are taking turns volleying me from one to the other - with neither able to solve (or fully understand) the issue.
Has anyone run into this problem and if so, how have you navigated being able to sell your products 3p and 1p. (this is a brand issue not ASIN specific)

Are you in SAS?
Have you checked your emails for account issues?
Have you specifically requested that they raise the issue to be handled by a supervisor?

Hello @Seller_2YOv7Yt9Wxa4L,
My name is Dougal and I would like to assist wherever I can. Please note that Seller resource teams (like me) do not have access to Vendor tools and based on what you posted here, I am guessing your VM doesn't have access to seller tools either.
Anytime this issue or similar issues have come up with other Sellers, the path to resolution has been on the Vendor side. Given the first part of the error you mentioned it seems your blocker from Selling is because you are a vendor as well.
I recommend reviewing your current contract as there may be more specified information there and ask your Vendor Manager to escalate to get an answer since they are your direct contact and resource.
Hope this helps maybe a little and ideally, another Seller that has experience with the same hybrid model can chime in here.
Best, Dougal
