If I downgrade my account from professional to personal can I cancel my insurance?
hello, as the title says. I rarely sell on Amazon anymore and have been paying many unnecessary fees the past few months.
If I downgrade the account can I also cancel my Amazon general liability insurance?
Also if I do downgrade the account… will everything be the same and I can do FBA still? But only sell 40 items a month max $1 each but I won’t meet even 10 items but don’t want to loose the account.
Will downgrading also restrict any currently unlocked brands?
Thank you!

The requirement for insurance is not related to account type. If you are required to provide insurance you must do so.
FBA is also not hinged to account type -- individual or professional accounts can both use FBA.

Hello there. Sounds like you have received all the right guidance above by fellow community member, @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl- thank you!
To downgrade your account, you can follow the steps outlined on this resource page. This will not remove the need for general liability insurance, and will not prohibit you from continuing with FBA or restrict any brands you have already been approved for.
Note: If enrolled in Tax Calculation Services, see Upgrade / Downgrade and Tax Calculation Service before you switch your account to an Individual selling plan.
