Hello Amazon Support Team and Fellow Sellers,
I need assistance with updating the brand name for my ASIN B0DSR621VK.
Initially, I listed this product under "Generic" because my brand was not yet registered. However, I have now successfully registered my brand TNY STORE and enrolled it in Amazon Brand Registry. Since I am the rightful brand owner, I need to update the brand name from "Generic" to TNY STORE.
I submitted a request through Seller Support, but they informed me that changing the brand name from "Generic" is not supported. However, this causes confusion for customers, as the product should correctly reflect my brand.
Has anyone successfully updated their brand name in a similar situation? I would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed.
Amazon Support Team, could you please review my case and let me know if there is an alternative way to update the brand name?

I can confirm the response you received is correct and that brand name changes from Generic to a branded name are not supported. This goes against the Amazon Brand Name Policy and the Product detail page rules (specifically the Policies for editing detail pages).
What you are describing here is considered re-branding. I advise creating a new ASIN with the brand name linked to your brand. Since the listing is FBA, I suggest analyzing your sell through rate and not replenishing inventory on the current ASIN to identify the best time to launch your the branded ASIN. This can help minimize potential sales impact.

Thank you for your help. However, I am disappointed that I cannot change the brand on the existing ASIN.
I would like to ask for one more piece of information. Can I transfer my products from the existing ASIN to the newly listed branded ASIN? Or do I need to remove the products from Amazon first and then send them to the newly listed branded ASIN?
I would appreciate it if you could provide information on this matter as well.
