Questions about GTIN Codes registration

I'm new to Amazon and just starting my journey. I purchased GTIN codes from the GS1 website. When I added my listing, I was prompted to add a GTIN for each variation, which I did. My listing is still pending as I am waiting for the certificate. I am curious if I need to do anything else with the GTIN codes I used for each variation while creating the listing. Do I need to do anything on the GS1 side?

Amazon will match ownership with GS1. Is your Amazon account ownership IDENTICAL to what is on GS1?
If not you will need to prove that both parties are the same owners.
ALSO, there appear to be some number sequences on GS1 that have caused problems with linking up and recognizing.
It can take a week or more from purchase to linking IF everything goes well. If there are glitches it can take longer, just like everything on Amazon.
