Account deactivated and no response from my appeals
Hello! I would love some help. I am new to selling on the amazon platform. I had opened an account back in 2021 with my husband - now ex husband. We never actually put any products in the store. That account has been locked out - neither of us have access to it. I opened a new account and was approved - sent my inventory to amazon and once they distributed it to all the warehouses they deactivated my account because of the old account that I cannot get into. I have been appealing it for two months now but no one ever reads the appeals and I get the same automated response. They will not call me and I have no number to call. They are charging me monthly because my inventory cannot move. I have tried emailing Jeff because I heard he was helpful with seller issues but I just get automated responses from that too. I have no clue what to do and I am so fed up with amazon. I just want my inventory back and will sell it elsewhere.

This could be a tough one. But a few things to clarify:
Was the original account in your name, your husband's name, or both?
Is your divorce finalized?
If it was in your husband's name, and you have proof of divorce, that should logically be enough to clear this (although "logic" rarely comes into play on Amazon). Otherwise, if your name is on the account, you will likely need to get it activated.
Post your case number here and tag a mod to look into it; you might have a chance. But it's a holiday weekend; don't expect a response right away.

The ONLY possibility of reactivating your actual account is to fix the old account. Certainly you know what email address did create that account. That's the only thing you need - but it will be a hard way. YOU have to do it, seller support can't help you.
