Can not create new ASIN for a private label. No brand. Anyone knows?

You are confusing something. Private label means that this is YOUR brand, so it is NOT "No brand".

You need a UPC from GS1 assigned to your seller name and your brand and then you can create your listing. Of course you do not dare listing as generic.

Thanks for the post. To add onto @Brigitte's guidance, please buy your UPC from GS1, in order for it be considered valid. I would recommend buying your UPCs directly from GS1 (and not from other third parties selling UPC licenses).
